Somewhere along the lines the scale of this boat sort of chose me, oppose to me choosing a scale. That might sound a bit odd as I designed and built the hull myself, but I just sort of drew up the plans to make it without planning on a scale. It wasn't until I was further olong with the construction that the scale was discovered.
So it turned out to be 1:20th scale which is not that normal and hence accessories are not that easy to come by, especially if you want them well detailed. I did find a guy selling scale parts, but after ordering a few bits I found the casts were a bit rough with lots of air bubbles in them and the lacked what I call finer detail, which is those very small bits most people won't ever see, but at the same time the bits that make the model stand out. As this was the case I set about making my own bits in 1:20th scale.
I made quite a lot of one off bits, but those that needed to be moulded to provide me with more than one, I am quite happy to sell on to help out other model boat enthusiasts finish a project of their own.
I do sell parts through eBay, but donít always have them listed, so if itís shown here, it can also be made to order.
